A popular Chester County pizzeria chain, Santucci’s, continues rolling out to New Jersey, soon to be opening in Brigantine.

A popular Chester County pizzeria chain, Santucci’s, continues rolling out to New Jersey, writes John Paul Titlow for The Philly Voice.

Santucci’s Original Square Pizza was founded in Philly in 1959 but operates locations within Chester County, including Media and Paoli. It plans to open its fourth location in The Garden State, and the third at the Jersey Shore.

Brigantine will be joining Wildwood, Ventnor City, and Washington Township as the latest Jersey location, although no opening date has been set, a Facebook page has hinted that it will be soon.

The chain will occupy a former 7/11 and have outdoor seating and dining. The Juniata Park-founded restaurant is known for its square-shaped pizzas and putting sauce on top of cheese.

It first set up shop down the shore in 2018 and has locations sprinkled throughout Philadelphia, at the Italian Market, Roxborough, and North Broad Street.
