West Chester's Andrée Jannette won a Bronze Medal at the 2023 Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest for her debut novel.

West Chester author Andrée Jannette has clinched the Bronze Medal at the 2023 Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest for her debut novel, The Tea Drinker’s Guide to Adventure

The contemporary romance novel centers around a protagonist who, amidst the throes of romance and adventure, is also grappling with the stark realities of Parkinson’s.  

Jannette herself also lives with Parkinson’s Disease. Her intention was to create a character who has to jump the hurdles that come with the disease while also living her life to the fullest.  

Readers’ Favorite, recognized as one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet, has garnered respect from esteemed publishers such as Harper Collins and Randomhouse.  

The contest is fully accredited, receiving thousands of entries from across the globe.
