Rotelle Studio(e) Custom Builders in Pottstown helped a Bucks County couple construct their 3,200 square-foot dream home.

A Chester County-based custom builder helped a couple downsize into their dream home. Rotelle Studio(e) Custom Builders in Pottstown helped Keith Gonzales and Lee Kline construct their 3,200 square foot home on top of a hill on a 15-acre plot of land in Durham Township, writes Terri Akman for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The modern home faced its hurdles since it was built during the pandemic.

Maddie LaGueux, the design coordinator for Rotelle, said this was due to having long lead times for sourcing products. Paving an 850-foot driveway on the hill proved to be a challenge, as it required various permits and approvals.

However, the couple, seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle, persevered for the pastoral scenery the property offered.

The two-story home has four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It also includes a basement with a screening theater for Kline, who works as a restoration director for the Criterion Collection.

A stunning kitchen with a center island is guest-friendly, and the covered back patio has epic views. The property also includes a built-in-pool.

It took a year and a half for the property to reach its final phase, but for a couple that often commute to New York City, this home is the perfect reprieve from city life.
