Peter Rotelle, CEO of South Coventry’s Rotelle Development, aims to create custom-built homes that are accessible for almost any budget, writes Donna Rovins for the Daily Local News.

Studio(e), a division of Rotelle Development, is the customer education center conceived by Rotelle after the Great Recession. The center showcases every aspect of custom homebuilding, including home design and construction, lot evaluations, and access to financing.

“On a myriad of levels, the recession was a game-changer,” said Rotelle. “We took a conservative approach through the boom, and we weathered the storm.”

Rotelle, who has close to three decades of experience in the home construction business, found that with resources such as HGTV and Pinterest, people could visually identify what they want for their homes.

“The marketplace was demanding more features that told the story about their lives in their homes. There’s nothing quite like this in the marketplace today,” he said.

Studio(e) had a soft opening last year, giving customers a place to get ideas. The division now has 30 employees who have helped hundreds of customers build their dream homes.
