Glen Valley Run Farm is one of the many Chester County pumpkin patches or stands to visit this fall.

Autumn is here, there are plenty of Chester County pumpkin patches and farms that offer fall delights, such as corn mazes, hayrides, and apple picking, writes Haleigh Abbott for the Chester County Press.

West Chester’s Highland Orchards is famous for its cider donuts but also is replete with fall produce. It offers all the autumn staples for the whole family, such as apple picking, pumpkin patch picking, hayrides, and corn mazes. Adults can sip on some festive brew at Levante Beer Garden on Saturdays and Sundays.

For the dairy queens and kings, Milky Way Farms in Chester Springs is the perfect destination. A five-dollar ticket gives visitors the chance to visit the farm animals, including the cows that make the famous homemade ice cream, as well as a corn maze. For nine dollars, the experience includes hayrides and pumpkin picking.

Bailey’s Dairy in West Chester serves up ice cream on weekends and offers a seasonal autumn bounty. In Kennett Square, Barnard’s Orchard also offers apple picking, although customers would have to call ahead of time for availability.

Glen Run Valley View Farm in Atglen has a pick-your-own pumpkin station and stand. Lastly, head over to Malvern to Sugartown Strawberries, which has seasonal crops, including a pumpkin patch. Hayrides are also available at this location.
