The Colonial Gardens and Highland Orchards have fall fun for everyone.

Fall is in full swing and with it, local farms are now offering plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy with your entire family, including pumpkin-picking, corn mazes, hayrides, and much more, writes Michelle Reese for The Philadelphia Inquirer

At Colonial Gardens in Phoenixville, you can pick a pumpkin from their large selection and then have fun on the farm’s annual Pumpkinland and Haunted Gardens. You can pose with your head in cutouts or let the youngest members of your family loose to play in the hay jump.

The farm also offers three mazes and a wagon ride through the woods. For some spooky fun, make sure to stop by Friday through Sunday nights during October for the farm’s haunted hayrides.

Meanwhile, at Highland Orchards in West Chester, you can ride the open-air shuttle out to the field during the weekend to pick your pumpkin. In addition, there are many other festivities to enjoy, including face painting, food trucks, an Amish-style barbecue, along with a wine and beer garden.

There’s also a free playground during the week.
