Coming in August, Uptown! will present the hilarious musical comedy, Nunsense! This funny yet wholesome show is about a convent of nuns raising money for the funeral of four nuns who, unfortunately, succumbed to botulism as a result of an unfortunate convent cooking accident.

The four shows will run only August 25 through August 27, tickets are available online.

In September, Uptown will bring Tommy and Me by Ray Didinger to the stage, a heartfelt story of how a 10-year-old Ray Didinger met his idol, Tommy McDonald, at the Eagles Training camp in Hershey.

Ray went on to become one of Philly’s favorite sons – a legendary sports writer, entertainer, and author. This story recounts a seminal time in Ray’s life when he helped his lifelong hero get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Tickets are available for the September 7 – September 17 shows.
