Meet Award-Winner Bernie Tiger, Tiger Resilience

Bernie Tiger is the founder and owner of Tiger Resilience.

Bernie Tiger launched Tiger Resilience (tiger-resilience.com) after working in the healthcare field for more than 25 years in various positions as a Credentialed Substance Abuse Counselor, a Clinical Supervisor, and a Personal Development Coach with an honor’s degree in psychology.

Featured front and center on the company website is its mantra…

All The Tools You Need To Bring Happiness Back into Your Life…Are you tired of living in fear, pain, and heartbreak all because your loved one has an addiction? Tiger Resilience has the solution – take back control of your life and live with newfound freedom!

In its early stages, Tiger Resilience is focused on treatment related to substance use disorder. It works ‘from the outside in’ where Tiger realized there had been a lack of ‘family support services for those family members and friends affected by addiction, not just for the person with a substance use disorder.

Tiger’s vision was to create a program to work with the family as the primary focus, which can help with individual success. As Tiger states, “The goal is to allow the family to be successful with or without the individual to create a power of influence to help them unify. They can set up parameters (safety, legal, and financial) together.”

Tiger Resilience, internet-based, makes content available for free and for a fee via multimedia in a highly creative and informative self-serve manner.

The company’s first set of tools is focused on opioid addiction. There are two ways to engage with the content: 1) Purchase a course and/or 2) Hire a coach who can provide assessments and ongoing services. The focus is on Coaching (future designed) vs. Counseling (past-oriented).

Today

Tiger Resilience continues to address a crisis facing one in three families in America, the addiction of a loved one.

Tiger Resilience has a stable presence online through social media interactions, engaging new and prospective clients using website landing pages, and building a subscriber base.

It has recently stepped up its efforts to provide more multimedia engagement through its YouTube Channel presence, offering short (one minute or less) and longer (up to 30 minutes) videos.

The company is seeing growth through website statistics, engagement, and views, and content is continually developed and presented.

Additionally, Tiger Resilience offers anger and stress management programs through its online educational program and coaching services.

Finally, Tiger Resilience recognizes the need to support families impacted by the many types of addictions and plans to add other addiction-specific support through various modalities.

Accurate information can be challenging to come by today. Yet, when dealing with addiction and its impacts on family and close friends, knowledge and support can be powerful, even liberating.

Bernie Tiger and his organization join the family on the path to recovery to help them manage much of the confusion, fear, frustration, and despair they may have been experiencing. Resilience exists and can be nurtured; change is possible.
