There’s something special to be said about picking your own fruit. Luckily, there are plenty of farms and orchards to visit around Chester County, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

This warm weather is the perfect time to bring home peaches, blackberries, and more. Here are some of the best places along the Main Line to go with family and friends.

Barnard’s Orchard in Kennett Square is a family-run property that updates its hours, available foods, and everything else on its Facebook page. Per its latest update from Lew Barnard, blackberries and blueberries are ready for picking.

Next, the well-known Highland Orchards in West Chester has been family-owned for over 80 years. Growing around 16 different crops across 200 acres, Highland Orchards is in its prime peach season. Additionally, pears, apples, sweet corn, and other delights will be coming soon.
