The Downingtown Farmers Market offers baked goods, handmade items, fresh produce, and more.

Farmers’ markets are perfect places to grab some locally grown produce, fresh meats and cheeses, or unique handmade goods while enjoying live music, writes Claire Chmiel for Main Line Today.

And as a bonus, visiting one will support local agrarian and entrepreneurial economies while also helping the environment.

At Downingtown Farmers Market, you can find authentic Mexican food and gluten-free baked goods, among a variety of other options. From May to December, the market is open every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Meanwhile, East Goshen Farmers Market has the simple mission of providing good food made by neighbors, for neighbors. Here you can find fresh, locally grown produce and various handcrafted products. It is open every Thursday in May through October in East Goshen Park from 3 to 7 PM.

Lancaster County Farmers Market in Wayne is a Main Line staple that has been around for over eight decades. The market hosts many vendors with various wares, from meats to flowers to home goods. The market is open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 6 AM to 4 PM.
