There’s more than just the grocery store produce section to pick up weekly fruits and veggies. The Main Line is home to a wide selection of co-ops and CSAs, writes Rachel Spurlock for Main Line Today.

Here are co-ops and CSAs to check out in Chester County.

In Downingtown, Down to Earth Harvest is a CSA that has a “plant positive” philosophy. A $100 deposit allows customers access to weekly produce which can be picked up in select locations across the county or at the farm itself.

West Chester has two spots to visit: West Chester Cooperative and Highland Orchards. West Chester Cooperative can be found at West Chester Grower’s Market or through the food program at the Holy Trinity Church. They plan to open a physical store and sell local produce in the next few years.

Highland Orchards is an all-inclusive CSA that has fruit shares ranging from $16.85 per share to $318 for a 12-time share. It’s customizable for meats and flowers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

From farm to florals, The Farm at Oxford in Kennett Square sells its products at a mini-retail shop located in Kennett Square. Customers can also pick them up at the farm on a weekly basis.
