The annual West Chester Chili Cook-off, one of the most popular events in the region, will return for its 21st year in October, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News. 

Hosted by The Rotary Club of West Chester, the event will take place on Oct. 8. Vendors will be set up on Sunday morning by 10:30 AM. Chili will be dished up starting at noon until 3:30 PM when the chili awards will be presented. 

“The West Chester Chili Cook-off embodies the essence of Rotary,” said Melissa Baxter, cook-off co-chair. “As our dub’s largest service project, it builds good will and friendship by bringing the community together to raise much needed support for local nonprofits. Giving back is the heart of the Rotary Club of West Chester.” 

Teams providing the chili include hometown cooks and volunteers, restaurants, nonprofits, and businesses. It is expected that the event will draw thousands of people from the region as well as the entire Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
