Wayne-Based Teleflex to Sign $650 Million Deal with to Expand Urology Technology

Wayne-based medical technology company Teleflex Inc. Is entering into a $650 million deal with Palette to expand their urology products, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.  

California-based Palette Life Sciences focuses on products that improve the experiences of patients with urology disorders or colorectal conditions. The agreement still requires regulatory approval, but when it closes come December, it could expand Teleflex’s urology product portfolio.  

The Chester County company boasts of the UroLift System to treat prostate conditions, and has reported a $2.79 billion revenue in 2022. It also manufactures products that are used for cardiology, surgery, anesthesia, respiratory care, and emergency medicine.  

“The acquisition of Palette Life Sciences will allow us to incorporate [the company’s] exciting technology into our interventional urology business unit and bring urologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists more innovative technologies that can positively impact patient care,” said Teleflex CEO Liam Kelly
