Valley Forge Promotions, parent company of Arnold’s Fun Center, has acquired the Regal Cinema 24 building in the Marketplace at Oaks and will be reopening the location under the name Oaks Center.

The Oaks Center will show first run movies as well as specialized genres targeting an August open date.

Additional plans to expand the offerings of the theater include arcade games, laser tag, mini bowling, corporate meeting space, live theater, and much more.

Oaks Center also plans to expand the menu of food and beverage options. They hope to include beer, wine, and cocktails on the new menu.

Chief Operating Officer Gerald Frey has designed a 2-phase plan to reopen the theater as quickly as possible, so the community does not experience a disruption of service.

“We are working around the clock to get theaters and an arcade operational this summer, but we are really excited about the long-term plans to make better use of the space through different attractions and multipurpose performance space,” he explained.

In addition to adding various entertainment attractions to bring a fresh feel to the movie theater experience, Valley Forge Promotions plans to turn several theaters into versatile presentation and meeting rooms. Corporate presentation space will be available by the end of 2023 as well as stages for live theater, music, talent, and comedy productions.

Valley Forge Promotions was established in 2008 as the management company of Arnold’s Fun Center as well as the American Treasure Tour Museum, a quirky pop-culture museum with a tram ride.
