Malvern Student Gets Once in Lifetime Opportunity to Study in Greece
A Malvern student at West Virginia University is one of the recipients of this year’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships that provides them with the opportunity to participate in transformative study abroad programs, writes WVU Today.
Hillary Probst is one of the 20 undergraduate students at WVU who received the competitive national award that is funded by the U.S. State Department.
Probst is a multidisciplinary studies major with minors in anthropology, art history, and Italian language.
Thanks to the scholarship, she will get to enjoy studying in Greece without any financial constraints, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“International travel is one of the most impactful learning experiences that an undergraduate student can engage in,” said Cate Johnson, assistant director of the ASPIRE Office at WVU.
