An abundance of businesses within Chester County made Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of largest public companies in the Philadelphia region.  

Berwyn-based Ametek Inc. made No. 18 on the list. This multinational conglomerate designs and manufactures electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. 

Another Berwyn company came to No. 23 on the list. Trinseo is a manufacturer of plastics and latex binders. Its revenue in 2022 was $4.97 billion.  

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. of Malvern made No. 29 on the list, raking in a revenue of $3.5 billion. This company manufactures semiconductors and other electronic components.  

Pharmaceutical company West Pharma made No. 33 on the list. The Exton-based company manufactures injectable pharmaceutical packaging.  

Wayne’s Teleflex, a medical device company, came to be No. 34 on the list.  Berwyn’s Triumph Group Inc., an aerospace supplier made No. 48. At No. 55 is Malvern’s CubeSmart, a storage unit company. No. 60 is Malvern’s Ecovyst, a chemicals company. 

Malvern Fintech company Cantaloupe Inc. made No. 84 on the list. It made headlines earlier this year for its vending machine software for its A.I.-powered Smart Markets.
