A West Chester-based network of alarm service companies is boasting of their vice president Sarah Goldstein who recently made Security Systems News’ 40 Under 40 list. Goldstein began her career at Alarm Connections as accounts receivable, she then went on to create the Partner Services Department as the only member.
The department then expanded to overseeing 16 employees and is now the direct connection for the membership organization.
Goldstein, 40, said that she was first inspired by the security industry after she ran into a former boss at the gym she was employed at.
He offered her a job at Alarm Connections and had originally only wanted it to be a temporary thing since she originally pursued teaching. She then moved to Arizona to be a physical education and health teacher but returned to Alarm Connections after her school closed.
Goldstein found out she made the 40 Under 40 List when she was in Disney World when another winner informed her.
“I wasn’t aware I even won and was honored to be a part of this award. I feel blessed to be amongst this talented group of people, and happy that I just made the cutoff!” said Goldstein.
