More than 1,000 four-legged friends will be hoping to find their forever home this weekend during the Brandywine Valley SPCA Mega Adoption Event that will take place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, reports FOX29 Philadelphia

This will be the West Chester-based organization’s 11th Mega Adoption Event. Families looking to add a furry companion to their ranks are guaranteed to find the one that will fit in perfectly from the many animals that will be available.

Big and small dogs, senior pets, cats, and puppies and kittens will all be available for adoption.

It is extremely important to get these animals into new homes because there are so many over the summer and the room in shelters is limited. Plus, they all need love and have more than enough to give in return to their new families.

The adoption fee during the event is $35. All of the available animals have already been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
