S&T Bank has donated $2,500 to Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM), a nonprofit organization located in West Chester. The donation will help support CVIM’s 25th anniversary celebration to be held October 2023 at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square.

“Through charitable sponsorships, S&T supports education and community and economic development. We support initiatives where our employee volunteers, local clients and residents can work as one team and support each other. S&T Bank is proud to support CVIM,” said Frank Monterosso, Brand Ambassador of S&T Bank.

To mark 25 years of providing healthcare, hope and healing, CVIM is planning this event that will honor the many supporters who make their mission possible.

CVIM was founded in 1998 to provide healthcare, hope and healing to local uninsured working adults and their children. Inspired by the work of Dr. Jack McConnell and supported by community leaders connected to Paoli Hospital, a primary goal was to increase access to high quality healthcare and thereby reduce costly emergency room visits and hospital admissions.

CVIM has treated thousands of patients since its opening and last year cared for about 4,000 patients during 36,420 visits. Primary and specialty medical care, comprehensive dental services, and free prescription medicines are provided to uninsured individuals and families earning less than 300 percent of the federal poverty level. Care is given in a comfortable setting by compassionate volunteer licensed healthcare professionals, support volunteers, and a core staff. CVIM’s operating budget is supported entirely by a generous community of philanthropic individuals, foundations, corporations, faith-based organizations and civic groups.

“Our goal at S&T Bank is to strengthen and improve the lives of our neighbors in communities where we live and work,” said James Robinson, VP Regional Banking Manager of SE. Pa.
