West Chester Grad Flocks to Eagles Coaching Staff
The Eagles announced several promotions for their upcoming season, and a West Chester University graduate is on the list, writes Glenn Erby for The Eagles Wire
Ronell Williams has been selected as the Nickels coach. He has an array of athletic accomplishments during his time with the Golden Rams, including being a Division II All-American.
This would not be the first position in Williams’ coaching career. He was a volunteer linebacker coach for Widener University in 2016. He also was defensive quality coach for the Bears since 2019. Williams was the defensive analyst at Temple University.
As the “nickels coach” for the Birds, he will be working in the defensive backfield. This is a new coaching position, according to NBC Sports.
