Members of a Coatesville robotics club are taking their robot “Full Circle” to Houston on April 19 to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship tournament, writes Tom Kretschmer for 6ABC. 

“There are 13 of us on our team and all of us pitched in some way,” said Michael Gallagher, one of the drivers of the robot. “Some were programming, some building, someone way, whoever you are on the team you made a healthy contribution to this robot. It took about eight months to build it.” 

Team 7244 is made up of diverse students from the Coatesville area from grades seven through 12. They competed in the state championship last month and beat 35 other teams for the chance to compete on the world stage.
