Bed Bath & Beyond Files for Bankruptcy, But Exton Could be Spared

By

As the iconic home goods retailer shutters across Philadelphia, Exton’s Bed Bath and Beyond may be spared.

The chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this Sunday, and now all 360 stores could possibly close, writes Will Anderson and Michael Potter for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

However, the beloved store is not out of business quite yet. If Bed Bath & Beyond finds an interested buyer, store closings will halt, according to CNN.

The location in Exton is one of the eight remaining stores in the Philadelphia region. Four Buybuy Baby locations in the region also remain.

Other nearby shops are in Jenkintown, Warrington, Newtown, Cherry Hill, Deptford, Hamilton, and Christiana.
