As the Eagles head to the Super Bowl Feb. 12, Birds fans are basking in victorious euphoria. One Phoenixville woman spoke to 6ABC about her football team’s win.  

“I’ve never been more happy in my entire life,” said Colleen McCoy. 

This past Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship, and as expected Philly’s streets went wild. Fanatics filled the streets and partied well into the night and partook in the pole-climbing tradition, according to 6 ABC.  

A sea of green filled Broad Street in Center City and fireworks went off, celebrating the win.  

“Obviously this is something you dream about as a kid. All these guys on the team have dreamt about this their entire lives, too,” said Coach Nick Sirianni.  

“Just to be able to do this together with a bunch of men that love each other, that are connected to each other, that will do anything for each other is pretty sweet.”
