A popular independent and woman-owned gift store is exploding all over the Philadelphia region. Occasionette opened its fifth brick-and-mortar location in the form of a pop-up shop, writes Eric Henderson for PhillyBite Magazine.

This can be found at Kennett Square’s worKS, which houses over 30 different creators around the region. WorKS in Kennett Square was founded in 2016 and operates out of renovated mid-century garage to bring a unique shopping experience for visitors.

When entering this unique business, shoppers can find holiday-themed gifts.

In lieu of the upcoming Cyber Monday, gift-buyers can also find citronella candles, specialty cocktail items, and Philly-centric houseware goods on its website. The business recently debuted its Chestnut Hill location and it also has a branch specializing in children’s and baby’s items.

“It wasn’t so long ago that this little dream of mine was just half a shop on East Passyunk Ave,” said Sara Villari, owner and Creative Director of Occasionette. “We’re beyond thrilled to have five Occasionette locations, plus the webshop, open at once during the season for all to purchase their gift-giving essentials!”
