Kildare’s Irish Pub Holds World Cup Watch Party for West Chester Soccer Fans

By

Kildare’s Irish Pub in West Chester hosted a newsworthy watch party for the U.S. Men’s Soccer Game against England, reports Alyana Gomez for 6ABC.

Driving crowds from all over the county, the pub was already at capacity before the game started.

“I came in at 11 o’clock this morning, there were already 100 people here,” said Kildare’s owner Dane Gray.

The game was unsuccessful for both sides, a 0-0 draw left neither nation in victory. But the fans still had a blast. Youth soccer players came out to see the game.

“It’s really cool because I kind of want to do that when I’m older,” said Jax Cohen.

In addition to game day, Kildare’s has daily happy hours serving up dishes like homemade hummus and half priced nachos. On the full menu, guests can enjoy pub classics like tacos, cheesesteaks, Reubens, as well as salads or a tuna poke bowl.
