Speculations Arise About Two Retailers Set to Appear at West Goshen Shopping Center

West Goshen shopping center is set to open two new businesses, but planning is still under wraps.

Amid rumors, Robbins Companies is hush hush about which two new businesses might make their debut at the West Goshen Shopping Center.

Representatives for the property management firm kept quiet about it at a planning commission meeting. What residents do know is that there will be an unnamed fast food restaurant to replace the Fotomat. It will have two lanes and would be able to hold 50 cars at a time, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

However, some planners at the committee meeting pushed back against this idea.

“You have to address the overall plan, not little pieces. This is just a  Band-Aid. Overall, (traffic) circulation is not being considered,” said Planning Commission Chair Douglass Stewart.

The second business will replace the former K-Mart and garden center, which closed its doors in 2018. Although the public is not aware of the retailer, CEO Chris Robins said it’s a “good national retail tenant that we are sure everyone will be happy with.”
