Eight Chester County Women Among 2022’s Power Women of Main Line and Western Suburbs

This year’s twenty power women of the Main Line and western suburbs are all poised, passionate, and persistent, with eight of them being from Chester County, writes Kim Douglas for Main Line Today

When Natanya Sortland of Charlestown Township lost her sight in 2014, she felt lost. Today, she scales buildings to raise awareness and funds for the blind. 

Malvern’s Alice Choi is known as the Hip Foodie Mom. Her blog became so popular that she was chosen by People magazine in 2018 for a “Mommy Bloggers to the Rescue” feature. 

Patti Brennan has always been interested in financial security, which led her to start her nationally ranked firm, Key Financial, which is based in West Chester.

Diane McGraw, president and executive producer at McGraw Productions in West Chester, has a thriving career she recently supplemented by organizing Legends for Peace, the international soccer event benefiting the Ukrainian relief effort. 

Berwyn’s Krista Ross helps save lives as executive director of the Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation. 

Meanwhile, Jennifer Licate, a counselor for the Chester County Intermediate Unit, helps kids cope with different emotions through bibliotherapy. 

Trish McFarland is a West Chester University graduate who now works at the Delaware County Chamber and advocates to aid suffering businesses.

Finally, Katie Jacoby has worked at the Downingtown School of Rock where she crafted her talent, leading her to perform for famous bands and groups.
