On Thursday, Nov. 3rd, the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI) will host its most prestigious event of the year, the 2022 Annual Awards Celebration at Longwood Gardens. The 2022 Annual Awards Celebration is sponsored by Independence Blue Cross and celebrates the accomplishments of the chamber over the past year, while honoring two incredible pillars in the community for their service. With Longwood Garden’s Conservatory – the jewel of Longwood – serving as the backdrop of the night’s festivities, it is guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening. This year’s celebration will also include an exclusive surprise unveiling during the event.

Each year, CCCBI honors a senior executive of a company who demonstrates great business and civic leadership in our community. This year, CCCBI is proud to recognize Kim Brumbaugh of Brumbaugh Wealth Management, LLC, as the Executive of the Year. Brumbaugh is the Founder and Managing Partner of Brumbaugh Wealth Management, LLC.

Brumbaugh started the firm in 2004 with a clear vision of her key responsibilities of coaching clients through life’s financial challenges. Overall, she has 36 years of experience in client service, management, and leadership, with 25 of those years serving affluent clients in the financial services industry. The Executive of the Year Award is sponsored by Mid Penn Bank.

In addition to honoring the Executive of the Year, CCCBI will also honor Citizen of the Year, Comcast. Comcast will be represented by Stephanie Kosta, Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs and Community Impact for Comcast’s Freedom Region. Joining Comcast in September of 2016, she leads a talented team who support key advocacy and compliance initiatives in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware. Kosta is also responsible for Comcast’s regional community investment partnerships and programs, including Internet Essentials, Leaders & Achievers Scholarships, and Comcast Foundation grants. The Citizen of the Year Award is sponsored by Comcast.

“The chamber, its board, and our members are excited to celebrate these two very deserving winners at the 2022 Annual Awards Dinner,” said Laura Manion, President of the CCCBI. “Kim Brumbaugh is a true public servant and is continually recognized for being a top performer in her industry and for her decades of notable experience. She is not only a leader in the Chester County business community, but also in the nonprofit sphere, serving on many boards, and bringing her talents, mentorship, and initiatives to those organizations.”

Manion continued, “We are also honoring Comcast as our Citizen of the Year. Prior to, throughout, and since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Comcast has exhibited outstanding leadership and citizenship in our community. While Comcast is a national company, they are committed to excellence, innovation, and investment in Chester County and the Greater Philadelphia region. Comcast continues to expand their significant footprint through digital access, job creation, technological investments, public-private partnerships, and philanthropic giving. We are elated to recognize such an important Chamber partner.
