Based in Exton, Brumbaugh Wealth Management is one of the leading independent financial and estate planning firms in eastern Pennsylvania, and the pandemic provided it the opportunity to reflect on its business and client relationships in a different way than ever before.

“COVID has pushed every industry to makes changes to their technology offerings; technologically, we’re five to seven years ahead prior to where we were pre-pandemic,” said Kim Brumbaugh, Founder and Managing Partner of Brumbaugh Wealth Management. “Our new technology platforms will provide our clients a better experience and greater efficiencies for our team, allowing us to spend more time with our clients.”

The Brumbaugh team has welcomed Carson Choice Retirement Solutions into the family, expanding its services in the 401(k) and health insurance arenas for public and private companies. The firm previously announced their less formal partnership in early 2020, and after two years of Carson’s due diligence, they’ve made it official.

“To say we are excited about the merger with Brumbaugh is an understatement,” said Rick Carson, the Founder of Bala Cynwyd-based Carson Choice. “We will continue to enhance the high-level service our clients are already accustomed to through an expanded team, more office locations, and state-of-the-art investment platforms.”

Brumbaugh Wealth Management offers a multi-generational planning approach to affluent families and businesses. Founded in 2004 by Kim Brumbaugh, the firm is known for its client-centered culture, professional guidance, and creating strong relationships. Its niche is working with families with complex financial situations, serving C-suite executives, owners of privately held businesses, and retirees.

“Advisor Net Financial and Cetera Advisor Networks are ideal partners because of their willingness and ability to create a custom platform to meet our clients’ needs and, just as importantly, preserve our ability to remain independent,” said Brumbaugh. “As fiduciaries, having the ability to act both as advisor and broker gives us ultimate flexibility to serve our clients’ needs with confidence and create greater value.”
