Check Out How Many School Districts in Chester County Rank Among the State’s Top 50 for 2022

Chester County is home to six of the 50 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania for 2022, according to recently published rankings by Niche.com.

To determine the Best School Districts in Pennsylvania, Niche.com rigorously analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education, along with millions of parent and student reviews. Evaluation factors included state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ATC scores, and teacher quality.

The highest-ranked school district in Chester County is Tredyffrin-Easttown, which placed second in the state. It has an average graduation rate of 97 percent, with 88 percent of its students proficient in reading and 74 percent proficient in math.

Next is Unionville-Chadds Ford at No. 7, followed by Great Valley at No. 18.

Downingtown is No. 23, with West Chester close behind at No. 26.

Owen J. Roberts, meanwhile, is No. 33.
