It’s a Trunk or Treat Monster Bash Oct. 21 at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology
The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Media (P.I.T.) is kicking its 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat up a notch!
Come meet the new mascot (“The Monster”) and help celebrate the unveiling of his name at the Trunk or Treat Monster Bash Oct. 21, 3 to 6 p.m. at the campus, located at 800 Manchester Ave. in Media.
The family-friendly event is free and open to all ages.
Wear your costume and go trunk to trunk to get some great candy from local community organizations and businesses.
The school is also featuring a Halloween-themed story time corner. The “Edie McFall Children’s Storytime Tent”, open from 3 to 5 p.m., is hosted by the Ridley Park Public Library in commemoration of Edie, who sat on the board of Ridley Park Library for many years as well as worked at P.I.T. for many decades.
There will be a pumpkin painting activity tent, and plenty of mascot friends to meet from all across the Greater Philly Metro.
P.I.T.’s community partners will be on hand, including SEPTA, Pennsylvania State Police, Media Borough Police and other community organizations.
Check here for volunteer or community partner opportunities at the Monster Bash. Community partners must RSVP by Oct. 10.
