The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has partnered with Friends of White Clay Creek Preserve to install the new Penndel Bridge at White Clay Creek Preserve in Landenberg, writes Steven Hoffman for the Chester County Press

The 3,212-acre preserve is the only one of its kind in Pennsylvania’s state park system. Its namesake creek has been designated a National Wild and Scenic River by Congress.

Visitors can enjoy hiking, trail running, fishing, mountain biking, and horseback riding at the preserve.

The new bridge is located on Penndel Hiking/Biking Trail. Costs of the bridge were covered by DCNR, while the costs of the installation have been paid for by Friends of White Clay Creek Preserve with help from Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation.
