Communications Coordinator

This position will write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, brochures, proclamations, citations, and press releases, and assist Public Information Officer, and other departmental communications teams, in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further County priorities.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of two years experience in a communications or marketing role. Candidates should have superior time management and organizational skills, as well as an analytical mind for critical thinking.

West Chester Facilities Superintendent

This position will s responsible for ensuring the county’s West Chester, district courts, and Public Safety Training Center buildings, facilities, and grounds are in good operating condition at all times. The position is responsible for coordinating maintenance for the buildings and leading skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks that requires in the building’s various systems.

The ideal candidate should have an associate’s degree, or trade school or equivalent with a minimum of eight years of job-related experience related to multiple aspects of public office building maintenance, construction and operations. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of construction and maintenance procedures and practices.

Water Resources Planner

This position will provide technical analysis and planning for water resources management related to floodplain management, stormwater management, water use and source water protection, watershed restoration, and protection of aquatic habitats and water resources. Other duties include preparing watershed studies and planning tools, as well as manage meetings and events for municipalities, public and stakeholders, and presentations.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree Water Resources Sciences, Environmental Planning, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least five years of experience in water resources related field. Candidates should have strong project management skills and experience in preparing and managing program, project and contract budgets.
