With more than two decades of experience, Collin Palmer, who grew up in “Wyeth country”, is a leader in the cannabis industry with his proprietary solventless extraction and deep comprehension of cultivation and production across verticals, writes Andrew DeAngelo for Forbes

Palmer, who is Head of Formulations at PAX, has accumulated a large genetic library over the decades and has an impressive knowledge base of the legalities within the cannabis industry. He has advised on the design of engineered facilities, genetics, cultivation, and more.

Palmer ties his job to his creativity.

“From a very young age, I always knew I wanted to do something creative — I grew up just outside of Philadelphia in “Wyeth country,” a cultural epicenter for American art,” he said. “Growing up, I had many creative interests from painting to music to film, horticulture, and beyond.”

He worked in theater, television, and music for years, before he got the chance to focus on his true calling.

“Little did I know that I’d one day have the opportunity to turn a lifelong passion into a creative profession, but here I am, residing on the east coast, formulating cannabis for a living,” he said.
