Appearance by Sixers Star Makes Fast-Growing Cookie Franchise’s Grand Opening in Tredyffrin a Memorable One

The Crumbl craze has spread to Tredyffrin Township with the opening of the newest location of the world’s fastest-growing cookie company in Gateway Shopping Center, writes Caroline O’Halloran for SAVVY Main Line.
It was not just the delicious treats that made the opening special. 76ers star Tobias Harris was on hand throughout the day to sign cookie boxes and take selfies with delighted fans.
Harris, a Wynnewood resident, first tried Crumbl Cookies in the 2020 NBA Bubble. He liked them so much that he decided he needed to bring the brand closer to his home court. He contacted his former trainer and friend Charles Terry, who used to own 15 Popeye’s franchises.
Terry opened the Main Line’s first Crumbl in Wynnewood with Harris as his brand ambassador. Now that the Wayne location is up and running, a new store in Broomall is in the works.
With each new store, Harris is much more than just the face of the brand. He visited the Chester County location multiple times before it opened to check on construction and schmooze with neighboring businesses.
