Best friends Brenna Medvitz of West Chester and Mary Flynn of Phoenixville have launched an outdoor picnic business, Wandering Picnics, to bring together families and friends for any occasion, writes Jen Samuel for Daily Local News.
Wandering Picnics provides a table, a rug, blankets, pillows, and more to bring outdoor gatherings to life. The goal is to make everything as comfortable and eco-friendly as possible.
“Wandering Picnics allows guests to make memories with loved ones by creating intimate experiences in beautiful, local settings,” said Flynn.
Medvitz and Flynn work with local photographers and caterers, and many of their customers come from Instagram after people post photos of their picnics. Themes include book clubs, family gatherings, birthday parties, anniversaries, and more.
“I’m always so honored when someone trusts us with their special day,” said Medvitz. “Our clients are always challenging us with fun, new ideas, too. We’ve set up at a few wineries at their request and have done so many things we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. I’m so excited to see where this season takes us.”
