CCRES, Downingtown, specializes in providing over 1,500 professional, dedicated staff members to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. It works in collaboration with school districts, intermediate units, and the behavioral health system.

CCRES currently has the following open positions.

Eligibility Specialist – Downingtown

The Eligibility Specialist coordinates and manages a caseload of working families to help them with eligibility for subsidized childcare. In addition, these professionals connect qualified families to local county service providers and manage positive relationships in the community.

Although the opening is primarily situated in Downingtown, it involves travel to Early Learning Resource Centers in Phoenixville, Coatesville, and West Grove.

The position reports Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; it is allotted paid time off as well as 11 paid holidays.

Mobile Therapist (MT)

The licensed therapist who accepts the Mobile Therapist job offer receives a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

This independent contract position is also a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team called Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS).

Daily responsibilities include providing individual and family psychotherapy in the home environments; providing insight into family dynamics; providing assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family; providing clinical progress notes and development of psychotherapy plan.

Hours include after-school and early evenings and 1–2 hours per week with each client family. Candidates should have an established ability to build and handle a caseload of multiple clients.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Downingtown

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a direct service (face-to-face) provider in the adult day program. He or she supports consumers in community settings using a person-centered planning approach to assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, and adaptive skills.

The DSP opportunity is a Monday-to-Friday position, covering 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is, however, an opportunity to flex working hours with another DSP professional, covering two to three days apiece over a Monday-to-Friday period.

The role operates out of Downingtown’s Achieve Program, located at 150 E. Pennsylvania Ave.

The hiree receives 11 paid holidays annually.
