After last spring’s inaugural Art Fair and Community Cleanup at Edgewood Cemetery, 989 E. High Street, Pottstown – and an additional, successful event in Fall 2021 – volunteers are gearing up for a third fair on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vendors are encouraged to reserve their spot for this “Bring Your Own Table” event that has been growing in popularity as it brings the community together and raises funds for maintenance of the 12-acre grounds.

As of late February, more than 20 vendors have already signed up for what looks to be a robust, diverse gathering of potters, painters, jewelry-makers, and other crafters.

To learn about vendors, visit the Edgewood Historic Cemetery Facebook page.

The Cemetery recently set up an account with Givebutter.com, a service that professionally manages donations and event reservations for nonprofits and allows such tax-deductible transactions to be submitted using Venmo, PayPal, and credit cards.

Artisans had been asking for this convenience, so Edgewood volunteers worked to implement the Givebutter platform.

To reserve your space, go to givebutter.com/EddieEdgewoodsArtFair. (Eddie is the hawk who makes his home in the Cemetery’s trees.)

The vendor fee is $40, or $30 if the artist agrees to donate a creation to the fundraising raffle held the day of the event. Donations for the Cemetery’s ongoing maintenance fund also may be made here.

Vendors with questions should call event organizer Bronwyn De Maso at 484-235-7875 or email bronwyndemaso@gmail.com.

The Cemetery also needs volunteers to help with the cleanup from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Gloves and hand tools are provided. Generous local eateries donated food for workers for the past two events and we are working to again provide lunch.

They are seeking gifts for the raffle and local musicians willing to perform at this upbeat event that so artfully brings life to the historic grounds.

For more information or to arrange a donation, reach out to De Maso (see info above) or Cathy Skitko at cathy@hobartsrunpottstown.org or 610-705-1017.
