Take DeSales University’s New One-Credit Course, Introduction to Consulting, and Challenge Yourself
This course provides an overview of the consulting profession.
The primary objective of this course is to provide you with an opportunity to become familiar with the consulting business, the types of career paths, the challenges of starting and growing a consulting business, and the typical phases of a consulting project.
These phases include: selling a project, entering the client firm, gathering data, diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and leaving.
Over 2 weekends, April 9 and April 23, with Introduction to Consulting, you can challenge yourself and explore your potential to stimulate innovation and creativity in others.
Mr. Jack Tyniec, Instructor, will teach you to:
• Consider ways to take your expertise into the consulting profession.
• Learn the types of career paths associated with consulting.
• Gain an understanding of the challenges of starting and growing a consulting business.
• Prepare for the typical phases in a consulting project, including selling a project, entering the client firm, gathering data, diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and leaving.
Class Schedule is on Saturday, April 9: 9 AM – 3 PM, and Saturday, April 23: 9 AM – 3 PM.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students on campus.
You can attend the course wither on the Center Valley Campus* (Gambet 210) or via Zoom.
1-credit courses are laser-focused on a particular subject matter which will support your current and future job needs. These 1-credit courses will support nearly all MBA concentration areas.
