CCRES, Downingtown, specializes in providing over 1,500 professional, dedicated staff members to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. It works in collaboration with school districts, intermediate units, and the behavioral health system.

Instructional Aide (IA) — Malvern

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as an Instructional Aide through a partnership with Great Valley School District.

This position, which includes paid time off, works all student days on the academic calendar year.

The role’s responsibilities include providing instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff; assisting students in organizational skills as directed by a teacher; reinforcing student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.); reporting/collecting data for educational or behavioral purposes.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a field employee position, working on all student days during the school calendar year. The associated compensation is $20 per hour.

PCAs provide one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents with emotional and behavior disorders in the school setting based on medical needs. Prompt intervention is also a key skill, to address issues of behavior management, conflict resolution, and anger management. Success in this role also hinges on peer interaction skills based on the IEP goals or behavioral treatment plan provided by school official or a Behavior Specialist Consultant.

Behavior Analyst/BCBA

The Behavior Analyst/BCBA position, paying $85 per hour, is an independent contractor field staff position working in the school, home and/or community setting based on medical needs.

The professional hired for this role will write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. Applicable disorders include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

Other duties comprise assisting in the development of adaptive skills to enable diagnosed children to take a more positive role in their school, home, and community settings; providing prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school; training a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions; and writing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).

Cases are typically authorized two-to-three hours per week for each client family, based on medical necessity. Caseloads can include multiple clients. Learn more about the Behavior Analyst position.
