As an internationally renowned manufacturer, Exton-based All-Fill leans on more than a half-century of experience to provide rugged, reliable, and accurate packaging equipment to help its customers meet the increasing production demands of today’s world. Developing and championing new machinery keeps the company on its toes, as it stays laser-focused on making the best products possible for its broad range of customers and being their single source for packaging machinery.

In the past year, All-Fill developed its first turnkey line featuring its own universal command center. The line is represented by five of their six machine offerings, including a bottle unscrambler, auger filler, checkweigher, a newly added capping machine, and labeling machine. The capping machine was introduced after All-Fill purchased the intellectual property from Balpack, Inc. of Sarasota, Fla., in April 2021.

All-Fill’s engineering and controls department created a prototype of the command center where you can monitor each machine individually or the entire line universally. The turnkey line and command center was on display in late fall of 2021 in Las Vegas at Pack Expo, the most comprehensive packaging and processing event in the industry.

The goal of the command center is to allow operators to make adjustments as needed, depending on the performance of their packaging equipment, even while in full production. Whether it is to check various weights or change the speeds for each machine’s operation, the command center has all the necessary information at your fingertips to make sure that your products are running as efficiently as possible.

“You can monitor the recipe of each machine individually, as well as your current status,” said All-Fill Controls Engineer Chad Martin. “You can see all the inputs to your production line to make sure that you’re not running low and can see where there’s any problems such as backlogs. You can also monitor the containers processed, as well as any errors in your system such as overweight or underweight.”

From concept to installation and beyond, All-Fill’s unique team of in-house engineering and technical specialists are a part of each customer’s project. They seek to provide resources for optimizing performance and ensuring productivity for the life of the equipment.

“My favorite project that I’ve worked on so far is the turnkey line and command center,” said Martin. “It really reassured us that part of the company culture here at All-Fill is an environment that encourages innovation.”

A line such as this one is ideal for packaging powder and granules into rigid containers. These products may include coffee, nutraceuticals, spices, pharmaceutical powders, industrial and agricultural chemicals, cosmetics, grains, detergents, baby formula, salt, sugar, and many similar products.

All-Fill’s packaging machinery is available worldwide for almost any product and industry. The company’s global presence means uncompromising service and support, no matter what or where a customer’s needs lie.
