Fellini Café in West Chester is a family-friendly Italian restaurant that puts emphasis on flavor and never skimps on meal sizes, writes Vittoria Woodill for CBS Philly.

“We have about 90 people every year for Christmas,” said co-owner Manny Matsos. “And we have 90 trays of food.”

The menu at the eatery offers a wide variety of dishes, all featuring its signature flair. This goes hand in hand with the philosophy the restaurant is based on.

“We have to be perfect every day,” said Matsos. “Our kitchen, they work hard. Our young kids, they work hard. So, when you see people in the restaurant business, tip your hat off to them.”

He emphasized that it is not a single thing that makes an eatery one of your favorites, but it is the many people who work hard to make the restaurant what it is.

“It’s not just the food or the service, it’s the people,” Matsos said. “The people make the place, that’s a fact.”

Some of the local favorites at Fellini Café include limoncello ravioli, frutti de mare pasta, and chicken breast with sun-dried tomato and shrimp.
