- 2,000 Meals On Wheels donations are prepared and delivered to Chester County residents in need each quarter.
- In July, the department provided 23,603 patient meals, a 22 percent increase from the prior year due to increased volumes.
- 600-700 hospital volunteers are fed each month in appreciation of their time.
- 220 customers are served on an average day at the Pavilion Bistro.
- 150 customers are served on an average day at the Hospitalities Café.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old, possess a great attitude, and have the motivation to provide excellent service to patients, visitors, and colleagues. The Food Service Worker starts at $15 per hour with no experience and goes up commensurate with years of experience.
This position performs duties such as distributing the prepared food to patients and customers in a friendly, smiling manner, as well as cleaning and sanitizing patient food equipment like food trucks, food trays, plates, silverware, etc.
The Food Service Associate starts at $15.50 per hour with no experience and goes up commensurate with years of experience.
This position performs duties such as verbally working with patients to obtain their meal selections and entering them into the computer system, assembling the patient meals on trays, delivering the trays to the patients, and collecting the trays when the patients have finished eating.
The Barista starts at $15.50 per hour with no experience and goes up commensurate with years of experience.
This position works in a fast and friendly customer service environment, making hand-crafted coffee and tea drinks, serving prepared food items, and using the cash register, as well as ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements.
