Chester County is the highest-earning county in Pennsylvania, according to a new report by Stacker.

To determine the highest-earning counties, Stacker used data from the U.S. Census Bureau to rank counties by their five-year estimate of median household income.

In Chester County, the median household income is $100,214, which is 62.3 percent above the state median, as well as 59.5 percent above the national median.

The county boasts more than half of households — or 50.1 percent — that are earning more than $100,000. This puts it at No. 37 among all counties nationwide.

Meanwhile, houses that earn less than $15,000 comprise just 4.9 percent of total households.

Philadelphia’s collar counties took the top four spots on the list. Montgomery County was in second place, Bucks County placed third, and Delaware County came in fourth.
