VISTA Careers – Safe Harbor of Chester County
Based in West Chester, Safe Harbor of Chester County is a nonprofit with a goal to reach beyond just feeding the homeless and providing housing. It seeks to understand each person’s background, define short-term action plans designed to address his or her challenges and needs, and monitor his or her progress.
Safe Harbor of Chester County aims to help rebuild lives and life skills, reestablish self-esteem, and help people overcome the issues that prevent them from leading independent, productive lives.
Bookkeeper/Fiscal Assistant
This part-time position manages payroll, A/P, A/R, bank receipts, and other monthly closings. With an average of 10-12 hours a week, this is a great opportunity for a retiree or someone looking to add additional income.
Experienced knowledge of Quickbooks and familiarity with Paychex Flex is a plus. The ability to work remotely for most activities is an option, although some in-office time will be needed.
