West Chester native Angela Cooper has launched Soho Waterworks, hoping to make the naturally sourced, bottled waters that are popular in Europe more widely available in the U.S., writes Marlene Lang for West Chester Patch.

Soho Waterworks markets premium water products to restaurants with in-store demos, tastings, and digital campaigns.

Cooper is a successful entrepreneur who started working as a 16-year-old after deciding to drop out of high school to help her father pay his disability bills. She then became the youngest teller at the esteemed Philadelphia Savings Fund Society. This helped her move on to build her own mortgage business in five states.

She launched her latest company in 2019, aiming to help educate consumers and retailers about Fine Waters and the amazing story behind the products. The Clear Alaska Glacial products are sourced from artesian wells, glacier-fed lakes, and aquifers, and they may become the next premium beverage at high-end restaurants.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to be marketing this premium water product to retailers nationwide,” said Cooper.
