The Gap Between Where COVID-19 Is Spreading the Most and Least in Chester County Now as Narrow as Ever

With the number of new COVID-19 cases starting to decrease once again, the gap between where the virus is spreading the most and the least in Chester County is as narrow as it has ever been, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending April 28, compared with the infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in new cases was in ZIP Code 19343 (Glenmoore), which recorded an increase of 2.97 percent.

ZIP Code 19365 (Parkesburg) is next with an increase of 2.96 percent, followed by ZIP Code 19310 (Atglen) at 2.84 percent. Also, ZIP Code 19344 (Honey Brook) recorded an increase of 2.80 percent.

Meanwhile, ZIP Code 19348 (Kennett Square) saw an uptick of just 0.52 percent, while ZIP Code 19390 (West Grove) recorded a rise of 0.53 percent.
