West Chester will soon add to its already impressive roster of restaurants and bars, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

Sedona Taphouse is getting ready to open its doors on Gay Street next week. The new establishment is part of Eli Kahn’s mixed-use building complex, 44 West.

“We are over the moon with excitement,” said Darryl Brophy, operations manager. “This is a prime location for people to meet friends and family to dine out and enjoy the town.”

The restaurant will have 140 seats, 20 of which will be at the bar. There will be 50 taps pouring craft beer, 30 percent of which will be locally brewed. Meanwhile, the open kitchen will give customers a chance to see how the food is prepared.

The menu will feature many organic, heart-healthy, and gluten-free options. Freshly made guacamole, crab cakes with no filler, truffle fries, and fried jalapenos wrapped with bacon and cheese are some of the many delicious offerings.

The grand opening and charity event that will benefit pediatric cancer efforts will take place April 19.
