Unleash your inner botanist and join the Chester County History Center for its Spring Festival on Saturday, May 1 from 10 AM-4 PM.

A day full of fun and rebirth, the event will feature live floral workshops, local vendors, and educational programs for kids.

Christina Wilcomes of Hackberry Hill Flowers in West Chester will instruct “Smitten with Succulents: A Hands-On Terrarium Workshop.” Succulents are more popular than ever and beloved for their myriad colors, textures, and simple care needs, and this hands-on workshop will guide you through the design and planting of a succulent terrarium.

Care tips, propagation methods, and helpful resources will be shared so participants can feel confident tending to terrariums at home. All materials will be supplied and are included with registration.

Having rebranded last year in its ongoing quest to bring the diverse and robust history of Chester County to life, the Chester County History Center’s premier collections of decorative arts, manuscripts, and photographs connects us to the faces, places, and events that have shaped our region and influenced a nation.
