The Exercise Coach, a smart fitness studio that relies on computers and robotics to help people get the most from their workouts, has opened its doors in West Chester, according to a report from the Daily Local News.

At the new high-tech facility located at 709 East Gay Street, the machines adjust a workout in real time to users’ strengths and weaknesses. This helps them avoid injury and ensures they are using their time efficiently.

So, instead of offering traditional equipment such as treadmills and dumbbells, owners Milt and Devon Linn have outfitted the studio with proprietary, high-tech, computerized machines that create personalized programs that are optimized for efficiency.

As a result, a person can just do two 20-minute workouts per week that cannot be matched in their effectiveness, even when doing traditional, seven-days-a-week exercise. In each session, the studio combines personalized strength and interval cardio training.

“The Exercise Coach is a technology-based, personal training studio that will provide an opportunity to help anyone who wants to live a longer, healthier life,” said Devon Linn.
